Indian Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi unveiled his grand plans for the country during the 74th Independence Day speech. He has declared to connect 6 lakh villages with optical fibre cable in the coming 1000 days. This was a landmark moment for the country as it directly enabled the Digital India vision, to which STL is also contributing and transforming lives through projects like BharatNet.

By now we have gotten used to seeing civilisations interact with each other from inside of tiny rectangles on screen. 2020 has shown the true extent of digital usage and fast-tracked its growth. To share his views on building a digital ecosystem and its opportunity Anand Agarwal, GCEO, STL, talks in his Business World piece about investing in digital infrastructure and its needs and future digital networks.

In the Women Achievers Summit and Awards 2020, jointly organised by Business World and exchange4media group, STL was awarded the ‘Best Organization for Women Empowerment’.
