Optotec DDMB are wall mounted boxes designed for optical signal distribution inside buildings, in access networks and in private LANs for low-capacity optical cables.
Optotec DDMB boxes have two areas separated by two doors:
1) Left door protects the entry of the external network cables. On the left side of the box, the continuous or harnessed cable is patched. On this side, it is also possible to manage splicing to a secondary cable.
2) The right side allows direct user-connection (single cables, preconn fanout cables or field-installable connectors) or Pigtail Spliced connection.
(size 1 and 2 only).
On request, in order to avoid unauthorised opening by third parties, it is possible to provide customised locking systems and keys.
