STL RoboEdge Regional Championship brings together young innovators

Recently, the STL RoboEdge Regional Championship brought together young innovators from 6 government schools. What started as a competition became a festival of curiosity, creativity, and courage! Students who had never touched a robot before built and programmed their own. As the top teams advance to the National Robotex Championship, we are reminded of one simple truth: empowered children become empowered communities. At STL, we believe in empowering communities through technology and education, and RoboEdge was another step in building tomorrow’s changemakers.

Signing off from Connected Britain - See you again!

We recently wrapped up Connected Britain 2025. The event united the nation’s digital leaders, innovators, and policymakers to accelerate the UK’s transformation into a truly connected society. From unveiling our next-gen optical fibre and cable solutions to sharing our journey in data centres, enterprise connectivity, and multi-core fibre innovations, every discussion reinforced the importance of building stronger, faster, and more sustainable digital networks for the future. We showcased STL’s commitment to reshaping connectivity in the UK and beyond. But more than the technologies, it was the exchange of ideas with industry peers, partners, and thought leaders that inspired us the most. We also collaborated with Netomnia to develop advanced optical solutions that underpin Netomnia’s capital-efficient, future-ready full-fibre network across the UK.
