US-MADE FIBER OPTIC CABLES

Broadband is the foundation for thriving communities. High speed connectivity drives online education, work, shopping, entertainment, and healthy living. The demand for optical fiber networks has never been greater. Some say that more optical fiber cable will be needed in the next five years than what has been deployed to date.

STL is one of the industry’s leading fiber optic manufacturers with a 25+ year innovation track record and customer base in more than 100 countries. STL’s wide range of end-to-end fiber optic solutions includes multi-loose tube cable, micro duct cable, and ribbon cable. As a portfolio designed to minimize space requirements and ease installation, STL’s fiber optic solutions are preferred by network engineering and operations teams around the world.

25+ Year legacy in Fiber
Optics

Since 1995, STL has been connecting the world and its people with the best optical fiber solutions. From the first optical fiber plant in India, STL has state-of-the-art production sites across Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. STL is committed to creating a world with next-generation technologies that transform everyday living.

Optical Fiber Cable

Ribbon Cable

STL RapidRibbon Single Jacket Ribbon Cable offers robust performance and efficiency, integrating high-count mass fusion splicing for various installations. With color-coded optical fibers and gel-free technology, it provides durability and ease of installation, making it ideal for demanding environments.

Multi Loose Tube Cable

STL RapidTube Multi Loose Tube Gel-Free Optical Fiber Cables are designed for versatile applications, including aerial, direct burial, and duct installations. They feature innovative gel-free technology, water-swellable yarns, and an optional corrugated steel tape armor for durability and reliable performance in challenging environments.

Drop Cable

STL RapidDrop flat single jacket fiber optic cable features gel-filled tubes, a thermoplastic jacket, and embedded strength members for easy installation and reliable performance, with a dielectric version available for enhanced safety.

Microduct Cable

STL Micro-Lite Multitube Single Jacket Fiber Optic Cables are typically used in micro duct or aerial drop installation applications. This cable is a stranded micro loose tube cable with optical Fiber placed inside robust buffer tubes stranded around a Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) central strength member. In addition to optical Fibers, the buffer tubes contain water blocking gel to prevent water ingress in the cable.

Celesta

STL’s Celesta Ribbon Cable combines robust performance for duct installations with the productivity of high-count mass fusion splicing. The innovative bond design results in dense fiber packing and smaller cable diameter. This cable offers an outstanding solution for demanding high-growth, high-bandwidth communications applications like data centers, equipment connections within cabinets, and outside plant applications.

Optical Connectivity

Opto-Blaze

OptoBlaze

Multiport Service Terminal

OptoBlaze is a plug and play solution for FTTH connectivity. The OptoBlaze Multiport Service Terminal (MST) is a device needed in the access network to quickly connect the Fiber Distribution Hub with subscribers. It is available in a 4-port, 8-port or 12-port configuration with or without preloaded splitters.
Optobolt-Cap-Open

OptoBolt

Connectorized Drop Cable

OptoBolt is pre-connectorized drop cable (one fiber) needed to connect the MST with the subscriber’s residence. Cables are available in multiple lengths and can be supplied as either a single connector with a cable stub end or with a connector on both ends.
STL OptoPull

Optopull

SC/APC Pullable Drop Cable

STL OptoPull factory terminated single fiber drop cables are designed to significantly reduce cable installation time required for subscriber connection, thereby reducing the total cost to connect.

Patch Cord and Pigtail

Fiber Optic Accessories

STL offers superior quality patch cord and pigtail in different configurations. They come with high precision connectors, terminated with state of art manufacturing processes and tested using high end optical instruments.

Optoped

Optical Pedestal

STL OptoPed optical pedestal is built with carrier-grade engineering materials for lasting environmental endurance. These pedestals are designed and tested to withstand the harshest of environmental conditions.

FOTB

Fiber Optic Termination Box

STL FOTB is used for splitting/termination of fibers in locations like multi-dwelling units and small offices. These enclosures are specifically designed for fast deployment and easy customer connection.

OptoPod

Flexible Multiport Service Terminal

The STL OptoPod is tailored for fast and easy network connections in space-constrained environments. Its small terminal unit, attached to staggered-length connector cables, offers installers maximum flexibility in challenging installation situations.

Expanding capacity in
North America

In 2023, STL established its first U.S. cable manufacturing plant in Kershaw County, South Carolina. The plant:

  • is strategically located closer to the customers in the region for speedier delivery,
  • increases manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demand for fiber,
  • minimizes the carbon footprint with in-region logistics and transportation, and
  • creates more jobs in the region.
