The Board of Directors of Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) have approved the Demerger of passive infrastructure business of Speedon Network Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of STL, into STL, at their meeting held on October 27, 2016. The proposed Demerger shall be subject to approval/ sanction of the Scheme by National Company Law Tribunal and such other regulatory authorities, as may be necessary.
