Demonstrating exceptional hold in the supply chain, logistics & procurement space, Sterlite Tech bagged the ELSC Supply Chain Collaboration award. The ceremony took place at the CPO Forum on October 25, at Novotel Mumbai.

The company received this recognition for its innovation and excellence demonstrated through collaboration with internal and external partners.

In addition, the company’s contributions were also recognised giants such as Capgemini and Mahindra & Mahindra, from the IT and automobile worls respectively.

STL’s Optical Fiber units in Waluj & Shendra were recognised at the Frost & Sullivan and TERI Sustainability 4.0 Awards 2018, held on 1st June in Mumbai.

The ‘Sustainability 4.0 Awards’ have been designed to honour the efforts made by companies which actively integrate sustainability principles into their business culture. Such organizations along with creating economic value, also contribute to the establishment of healthy ecosystems and stronger communities.

STL’s facility in Waluj was awarded the Certificate of Merit in the ‘Believers’ category while the facility in Shendra received recognition in the ‘Challengers’ category. The selection process involved two days of on-site assessment by a team of three independent assessors. Purpose, Planet, Partnership, and People were the key attributes on which the overall evaluation was based. Performance scores of both the facilities have been on the rise since last year, with the Shendra facility moving a major step ahead from being in the ‘Believers’ category to making its way to the ‘Challengers’ category, in the sustainability space.
